Mitchell is a formally trained Director of Photography for feature films.
He has collaborated as cinematographer with international directors on narrative & experimental cinema, feature-length documentaries (for Weather Network USA/China), music videos, and commercials.
He extensive experience shooting in France, UK, across Europe, in the studios of Los Angeles, through the winters of New York, and in his native Toronto, Canada.
Mitchell wrote, directed, & shot "I Thought We Were Close"– shortlisted and featured by the Toronto International Film Festival x Instagram Festival '16.
Mitchell's photographic film work has featured cities from Paris, Los Angeles, New York, London, Berlin & Toronto.
